The assembly of the first wind turbine of Tonstad Vindpark has begun. The parts are lifted by a crane with a lifting capacity of approximately 160 tons (depending on angle and extension) Each blade has a weight of 17 tons.

The total assembly takes approximately 42 hours. Mechanical works such as installation of internal staircases as well as electrial works take a combined additional 5 days.
